Touring Korea
The children read a story this week called The Disguise, which was set in Korea about 100 years ago. During one of our computer lab sessions, they were able to take a virtual tour of Korea. They learned some Korean words and “visited” several famous places in this very interesting country.
The kids were really relieved to be have such a fun activity in the computer lab. Most of our recent visits have been limited to taking practice tests for the Kansas State Math and Reading Assessments or working with Success Maker, a tutoring program designed to help improve standardized testing scores.
